9/25/2016     No " no song title.  Four large gongs that hang down from and are suspended in a wooden stand, compose the Gandingan, a percussion instrument which originally came from the Philippines.  It is usually played as a secondary instrument of melody along with a Kulintang which is composed of smaller gongs that are firmly set in a row in a smaller wooden stand.  There is a Kulintang ensemble made up of the Maguindanao people who are the sixth largest Filipino ethnic group.  Their name translates to "people of the plains."  ENJOY!!!!!!
