S.O.D. "Bella Notte" by Sonny Burke and Peggy Lee

5/25/2016     From the 1955 animated Disney movie, "Lady and the Tramp," this Italian love song stuck with a lot of people when the movie was released.  While big band leader, composer, arranger and producer Sonny Burke, provided the music, singer – songwriter/actress, Peggy Lee, wrote the lyrics.  In the film it was performed by George Givot.  On the Disney album however, Bob Grabeau performs the song which is the most popular version.  This is quite a wonderful movie.  More Disney tunes?
