S.O.D. "The Arms of Night" by Jackson Browne

6/17/2020  I can’t imagine anyone not liking Jackson Browne. Along with many other musicians, he is an institution, and just a friendly, comfortable sound we all know. He has an honorary Doctorate in Music from Occidental College In Los Angeles. The college awarded this due to his vision and dedication in music and social justice.  Jackson has received many awards due to his activism including the Gandhi Peace award in 2018. This has been awarded by the Government of India since 1960, and Browne is the first artist to receive it.  As of 2015, he is ranked #37 on Rolling Stone’s list of the “100 Greatest Songwriters of All Time.”  This is his 54th year in music.
