S.O.D. "A Road Song" by Adam Schlesinger

 A beautiful career, 1990-2020 for a musician and producer that was very generous with his works. You can find one of his songs in more than 20 films, including the title track for That Thing You Do!, directed by and starring Tom Hanks.  Many musicians had the honor of Schlessinger writing a song for them to perform.  He also contributed to the theater, and scheduled for May, 2020 was the debut of the musical, The Bedwetter, a collaboration with Sarah Silverman based on a book that she wrote.  Unfortunately the Covid-19 pandemic took him from us on April 1st.  

Adam was a part of four different music projects, including Fountains Of Wayne, which he cofounded with Chris Collinswood.  He was nominated for accolades from the entire musical spectrum; television, film, theater, and of course music that stands on its own. Born in 1967 in New York City on Halloween to Barbara and Stephen, growing up in Manhattan and Montclair, New Jersey.
