10/29/2020 This 1975 country release was Spears’ most popular and successful song, about a middle-aged couple making love outdoors. It charted well internationally, and became a #5 hit in Ireland with a cover from musician Philomena Begley. Spears and Begley became good friends, occasionally performing together. Begley recorded a tribute album after Spears’ passing in 2011. She was born Billie Joe Moore in 1937 in Beaufort, Texas. Her mother helped put ships together for World War II.
