S.O.D. "Last Kind Words Blues" by Geeshie Wiley

8/10/2018     Not much is known about this blues singer that also played guitar.  It doesn't seem that her real name is even known, Lillie Mae Boone maybe.  Looks like she was born in 1908 and died in 1950.  The only thing we know about her musical career is that she was exceptional, and recorded a handful of songs (six actually) for Paramount records.  This tune has been covered by a few other artists.  If you enjoy music history and mystery, she is a good one to research.
