S.O.D. "Little Green" by Joni Mitchell

2/26/2017     This song is about the daughter Mitchell gave up for adoption in 1965.  She was a dirt poor folk singer at the time and later commented on the situation, "An unhappy mother does not raise a happy child.  It was difficult parting with the child but I had to let her go.  They were reunited in 1997.
