1/11/2017     If you've ever heard of Night Train Clemons, then you've heard of Robert Cray.  Muddy Waters was a big inspiration for him and he has played with some of the greats, including Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Buddy Guy, and John Lee Hooker.  Active since 1974, he has stuck with Blues and Blues Rock and those are all he has needed.

In National Lampoon's "Animal House," he is the bassist in the frat house party band, Otis Day and the Knights."  Cray has released 22 albums and 13 singles and was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame in 2011.  The Robert Cray Band has 21 pieces.
