S.O.D. Salterio Music

9/26/2016    How about the salterio.  Ever have a zither when you were a kid?  Other terms include the hammered dulcimer or psaltery.  Salterio is used in the languages of Spanish, Portuguese and Italian.  A salterio is hit with some sort of mallet, while a hammered dulcimer is plucked.  Maybe it's the other way around.  Scholars are still arguing the point.  Meanwhile we are enjoying the music.
