S.O.D. "Spirit of the Forest" by Korpiklaani
9/10/2016 Active since 1993, this Finnish folk/metal (quite the combination) group was known as Shamaani Duo from 1993-1996 and then Shaman from 1996-2003. Korpiklaani in Finnish means 'Forest Clan.' They changed their style a bit after becoming Korpiklaani and some refer to it as "old people's music with heavy metal guitars." Their regular lineup of instruments includes guitar, bass guitar, drums, accordion and violin. They have created 12 studio albums but only eight singles.
