S.O.D. "Morning Sun" by Holly Herndon

9/2/2016     OK, first of all guys, this composer, artist, musician and producer was born and raised in Johnson City, Tennessee.  Experimental and electronic music has been her specialties and she has come up with some mind blowing results.  She received her degree in Electronic Music and Recording Media from Mills College in Oakland, California.  During her time there she composed a piece called "195" which led to her winning the Elizabeth Mills Crothers award, given for best composer of the year, in this case 2010.  

     Herndon has been active since 2009 releasing 4 studio albums and three major singles with a ton of collaboration work.  All of her composing is pretty much done on a laptop using programs and programming language to create instruments and vocal processes.
