S.O.D. "I'm Free" by The Soup Dragons
8/17/2016 This is actually a remake of the 1965 Rolling Stones' song written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. The Soup Dragons' version made it to #5 in the UK and charted decently in the U.S. It was also featured in the 2013 film "The World's End."
The Dragons were active from 1985 to 1995 and were a Scottish indie pop and alternative pop and dance band. The group survived with only six members the entire decade that they were making music. They produced some catchy music with seven of their 17 singles making the top 10. From the 1960s animated television series for children called "Clangers" is where the group took their name. In the show, the Soup Dragon provided green soup for the children.
