S.O.D. "Do You Feel Like We Do" by Peter Frampton
8/13/2015 Released in 1973 from the album "Frampton's Camel" and again in 1976 from the album "Frampton Comes Alive," this tune is notably popular for Frampton's guitar solos and talk box performance. Using an effects pedal, the sound of the guitar is redirected through a tube and back to the guitarist's mouth allowing the guitar to mimic human speech.
As a result of Frampton's live shows and the strength behind them, A&M Records decided to release a live album which was taped during his performance at Winterland in San Francisco. "Do You Feel Like We Do" was added to the album after it was decided to be a double LP. The longer version is 14 minutes, which some radio stations still play today. Frampton's Camel was the first name of his band. He was born in Bromley England in 1950 and has been active since 1966. The album "Frampton Comes Alive" is one of the best selling in music history.
