S.O.D. "Some Like It Hot" by The Power Station

7/28/2015     SORRY GUYS, THIS SONG IS OUT OF ORDER AND EVEN MY WEB GENIUS CAN'T FIX IT.          

     The iconic Robert Palmer was part of this group before he passed in 2003.  He helped compose this 1985 release along with bandmembers Andy and John Taylor.  It would prove to be the group's biggest hit, ranking at #6 on the Billboard Hot 100.    

     In social media, it was featured in the movie National Lampoon's European Vacation and in the Family Guy parody, "It's a Trap", which was their version of Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.  The Power Station dabbled in pop rock, hard rock, dance rock in new wave. They were active 1984-85 and 1995–97.
