S.O.D. "Harlem Nocturne" by Earle Hagen

7/30/2016     This popular jazz standard has been recorded by more than 25 artists and was the theme for The Mike Hammer Show starring Stacy Keach.  Mr. Hagen has composed many popular theme songs for TV including The Dick Van Dyke show, That Girl, The Mod Squad and The Andy Griffith Show on which he is the person you hear whistling during the beginning and ending credits.  Hagen enjoyed a marvelous career, taking off for Music Heaven in 2008 at the age of 88.  This version is by Earl Bostic.   ENJOY!!!!!
