S.O.D. "Bach Gigue in Dminor" by Caterina Lichtenberg and Mike Marshall

7/27/2016     Two fantastic musicians here with Lichtenberg being the most recognized mandolinist of our time.  She holds the degree of Professor of the Classical Mandolin which she obtained through the Music Conservatory in Cologne, Germany after graduating with the highest honors.  At present it is the only degree of its kind in the world.  Yes she has toured a good part of the world and is also an online teacher for ArtistWorks music school.  

     Mike Marshall is a composer and multi-instrumentalist playing all strings which includes violin, mandolin, mandocello and guitar.  Jazz, classical, Bluegrass and new acoustic music are his main genres.  Using all acoustic instruments with a combination of jazz, folk, bluegrass and world music make up the new acoustic genre.  Marshall has worked with many artists and is credited with 14 albums.  He is also a teacher with ArtistWorks for the Academy of Bluegrass.  An accomplished cook, he sometimes trades cooking lessons for music instruction.  When doing this he is receiving cooking instruction from some of the best chefs in San Francisco.  That's the way to do it, Barter and Trade.  Let's bring it back Dammit!!!!
