S.O.D. "They're Coming to Take Me Away Ha-Haaa" by Napolean XIV

6/29/2016     Jerry Samuels is his real name and he accomplished this song in 1966 under the comedy/novelty genre.  Kind of a one hit wonder for him although he wrote songs for other artists such as "As If I Didn't Know", made famous by Adam Wade, and the top 20 hit in 1964 performed by Sammy Davis, Jr, "The Shelter of Your Arms."  He released one album with all comedic songs, and also released 4 singles of which three were this song.  Samuels is now 78 years old.
