S.O.D. "Ton O' Rock Bump" by The Big 18

6/23/2016     Alright it's big-band time. The Big 18 stands for 18 musicians.  This is from the 2nd of the two albums they made and was released in 1958.  It was the swing era and these guys were the elite.  The group was put together personally by RCA Victor Musical Director Fred Reynolds, with the idea of extended solos for the master musicians to express themselves.

Switch it up once in a while and listen to some big band music. While you're at it take some swing dance
