S.O.D. "Piece of Me" by Britney Spears

5/28/2016      Her style in this video is as usual, sensational.  Sort of a brave song to take on as it recalls her mishaps and personal life which is written well with experience by Bloodshy & Avant and Klas Ahlund, from working with Spears for so many years.  Under the genre of Electro, the hit received high critical praise and was ranked by Rolling Stone at #15 on their list of the 100 Best Songs of 2007.  In the U.S. and Ireland it topped the charts, and made the top 10 in eight other countries.  At the 2008 MTV Music Video Awards it was nominated for three and won them all.  Some critics say that her body was digitally altered in the video, making her look younger. She was however only 26 and works her ass off, so....  

     At age 3 she was taking dance lessons and performed solo at her annual recital in her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana.  She also won many state-level competitions and talent shows in voice and gymnastics.  

     OK before I go on I just have to say, google this woman.  It seems there is nothing she cannot do, makes for good reading.  In the Guinness World Record book she is listed as having the Best-selling album by a teenage solo artist which is baby one more time, selling 13 million copies in the U.S. Spears is also the best selling teenage artist ever, with more than 37 million albums sold worldwide before turning 20.  She is also an actor and author and pretty much became a star overnight.  It was almost that fast.  As far as her amazing vocal ability, she possesses a three octave and two note range.
