S.O.D. "Pulstar" by Vangelis

4/7/2016     OK so this guy must be pretty good because he has a planet named after him. He was also made a knight in France of the Order of Arts and Letters, has received quite a few other rewards and even has his own stamp.  

     Born Evanghelos Odysseas Papathanassiou  in 1943, Velos, Greece, is mainly self taught, mastering piano, keyboards, organ, synthesizer, drums and percussion. Now in his 55th year of amazing music, his genres include progressive rock, classical, electronic and new age. Associated mainly with motion picture soundtracks, a few of his most popular are Chariots of Fire, Blade Runner, Antarctica and Alexander.  Of his 24  albums, 15 are soundtracks.
