S.O.D. "The Sign" by Ace of Base

4/17/2016     This dance/pop/reggae group hails from Sweden and have been around since 1990.    The group was formed by the Berggren siblings and are still active. This release is from their album, "Happy Nation" which was certified 9x platinum in the US and is one of the best selling albums in history. The song charted in 19 countries, ranking at #1 in seven and staying at #6 or better in the rest.  On the Billboard Hot 100 in 1994, it was #1, ranked  #1 on the End of Year chart and #11 on the End of Decade chart.  Also on the Billboard hot 100 it was given the #60 spot on their list of the 100 All-Time Top Songs for the first 50 years of the Hot 100 chart.  The group has sold more than 30 million records worldwide with only four studio albums being released.
