S.O.D. "Rock With You" by Michael Jackson
3/4/2015 A catchy "you can't help but dance" number released in 1979 from his album "Off The Wall". Written by Rod Temperton and produced by Quincy Jones, it went gold in New Zealand and platinum in the U.S. It reached #1 on the Pop and R&B charts, was one of the last great disco hits and according to Billboard was the 4th biggest hit of 1980. The studio recording enlisted a 13 piece band including lead vocals and a five-part horn section.
His awards and accomplishments are much too many to list but to name a few he held the Guinness World Record for The most Grammys, 13, the most American Music Awards, 26, and for contributing to the most charities ever by an artist, 39. All in all he has one hundreds of awards making him the most awarded artist of all time. He is the only musician to achieve a top 10 hit single in five different decades and was named Artist of the 1980s and artist of the century.
Let's keep it all about the music here and give this man some respect. There will be no degrading artists in S.O.D.
