S.O.D. "Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman?" by Bryan Adams
3/20/2015 The song gets my vote for one of the best love songs ever. It charted in 18 different countries, peaking at #1 in 6 including the U.S. where it stayed there for five weeks. Written and composed by the songwriting team of Bryan Adams, Michael Kamen, an American composer and orchestral arranger and Robert John "Mutt" Lange, it is their third #1 hit and their 2nd winning Oscar song. The song was recorded by Adams for the movie Don Juan DeMarco and also appears on his album "18 Till I Die". During the film it is played three times. Twice in Spanish by other artists and during the closing credits by Adams.
Adams is a Canadian rocker who has stayed active from the start which will be 4 decades in 2016. Aside from being a musician, he is credited as an actor, social activist, record producer and accomplished photographer. He has won too many awards to mention but certainly worth mentioning are the "Order of British Colombia" and the "Order of Canada" for his contributions to music and philanthropic work through his own foundation which helps to improve education around the world. He has photographed for many popular magazines, many of his musical peers' photo shoots, and was invited to photograph Queen Elizabeth II during her Golden Jubilee. He is the best selling Canadian rock artist of all time. I dedicate this S.O.D. to my beautiful, amazing wife.
