S.O.D. "The Glamorous Life" by Sheila E.

2/26/2016     Of course you will receive a video link now, but I encourage you to seek out other videos of Sheila E. performances.  She is nothing short of extraordinary in her musical skills and her ability to entertain.  Prince wrote the song and helped produce it along with Sheila.  It is the title track from her debut album of the same name, landing at #1 on the U.S. Dance charts along with five award nominations.  

     Sheila has worked with artists such as Ringo Starr, Beyoncé, Gloria Estefan, Lionel Richie, Hans Zimmer, and worked with Prince on the Purple Rain album.  This is her 40th year in the business and she is still headlining shows.  In 2012 she toured with musician Sy Smith in the US and Europe. An autobiography was released in 2013.
