S.O.D. "Indian Love Song" by Buddy Red Bow

11/26/2016     This Native American was a Lakota Indian.  He was also a musician and actor who made four albums and starred in three films including "How the West was Won" in 1962 and "Young Guns Two" in 1990, with small parts in many other films.  

     After growing up in South Dakota on the Pineridge Indian Reservation, he quit high school to pursue acting.  In the 60s he joined the Marines and served in the Vietnam War.  Red Bow passed on in 1993 at age 44.  In 1998 he was inducted into the Native American Music Awards Hall of Fame.
