S.O.D. "Good Ole Wagon" by Dave Van Ronk
10/9/2016 Also known as the "Mayor of MacDougal Street," this well loved guitarist/singer-songwriter was significant to the American folk music revival and the Greenwich Village music era of the 60s. He was one of the first to arrange the song "House of the Rising Sun," which Bob Dylan recorded.
In 1990 Ronk was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers. In 2002 he passed on to Music Heaven, having a tremendous impact on the music industry both past and future. Some of his genres include blues, folk, country blues and ragtime. He was active from 1959-2002. His music is worth a listen.
