S.O.D. "Drop of Blood" by Maddy Prior and the Girls

10/8/2016      This extremely versatile artist from Blackpool, England has been a part of more than 40 albums, working with a diverse cast of artists.  The vocalist/percussionist/dancer will be in her 50th year of music in 2017 focusing mainly on folk and folk rock.  She has also worked as a session vocalist on many occasions and has 30 singles to her credit.  Prior began her career teaming up with multi-instrumentalist/photographer/writer Tim Hart who passed on in 2009.  Together they formed the group Steeleye Span which lasted from 1970-1982.
