10/5/2016     Country music/outlaw country/roots rock/country soul/rock/alternative country.  Vocalist and guitarist/singer-songwriter, 2004-present day.  The origin of Jackson, Kentucky.  Oh yeah that's where the bourbon is made.  "Metamodern Sounds in Country Music" is his second album which was nominated for a Grammy and made the ranking on a few lists including at #18 on Rolling Stone's the "50 Best Albums of 2014."  He is often compared to Waylon Jennings and Waylon's son Shooter Jennings, is a big fan.
