S.O.D. "Rock You Like A Hurricane"

1/5/2015     Aside from landing in several public media spots, this 1984 hard rock/heavy metal release has been ranked by VH1 as the 18th greatest hard rock song of all time and as the 4th best riff of the 80s.  

     A couple sports teams and athletes use it as their signature song. In 2006 during a football game between the New Orleans Saints and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Tampa Bay cheerleaders used it for their halftime song which came off in bad taste for the New Orleans fans regarding Hurricane Katrina.  

     The Scorpions are a German hard rock/heavy metal group that was formed by guitarist/backing vocalist, Rudolph Schenker.  They are in their 50th year of rocking.
