S.O.D. "Hide and Seek" by Imogen Heap

1/17/2016     This 2005 folktronic/pop release has been featured in many public media spots including "Gossip Girl" "The L Word" and "CSI: Miami." It is from her 2nd album, "Speak for Yourself" and features a vocorder which analyzes and synthesizes the human voice.  The tune charted fairly well in the U.S. and UK and earned a Gold Certification.  

    Imogen Heap is mainly the work of one woman, Imogen Jennifer Heap, yes that is her birth name.  She does pretty much everything herself including writing the material, producing and engineering.  A multi instrumentalist, she is proficient on 14 different instruments. Heap has been active since 1977, is up and coming and should be paid close attention to.
