5/4/2023 The Waifs, active since 1992, playing mostly folk rock, originated in Albany, Western Australia in 1992. They have released eight studio albums, and five singles, have won 11 awards from 36 nominations, and have been inducted into two Australian halls of fame. The group was founded by sisters, Donna and Vikki Simpson, and multi string instrumentalist, Josh Cunningham.
