S.O.D. "Five Miles Out" by Mike Oldfield

11/27/2023 From the 1982 album of the same name, inspired by a near airplane crash, in which Oldfield was a passenger. The song is sung through a vocoder, in an attempt to create authenticity of a conversation between a pilot and a traffic controller. Sometime after this event, Oldfield acquired his pilots license.
