Released in 1989, it tells the story of a World War I soldier in a military hospital after losing, among other things, his limbs. This seems to be Metallica caring about the right thing. War may be the worst thing ever. The Los Angeles-based heavy metal band has been together for 41 years, with four current members and only four past members.
