S.O.D. " The Wagoner's Lad" by Buell Kazee

5/18/2022 This banjoist from Magoffin county, Kentucky was active for around 40 years. Some of his hits include “Gray Lady,” “The Little Orphan Child,” and a very successful rendition of “On Top of Old Smoky.” He would eventually retire from music to become a minister. Kazee came back to music for a short while, and left us in 1976. Fantastic banjo work.
