S.O.D. "Whispering Grass" by The Ink Spots

5/3/2022 Written in 1940 by songwriter and music publisher Fred Fisher, along with his singer-songwriter daughter, Doris Fisher. Right around 10 versions were done, with The Ink Spots recording their’s in 1940 with a comedic twist. The words, “Whispering Grass” are connected with Greek mythology, and the myth of Midas.
