2/1/2022 In 1961 this jazz standard became the biggest selling jazz single of all time. Composed by saxophonist Paul Desmond in 1959, it was originally recorded by the Dave Brubeck Quartet. It charted well internationally and at one point landed at #25 on the Billboard Hot 100.
