S.O.D. "Penitentiary" by Bessie Tucker

8/8/2021 Quite a few people with an air of mystery in the music business. This blues singer songwriter out of Rusk, Texas recorded a handful of songs for the Victor label in Memphis, TN. Born in 1906 or 07, she would be with us for just 26 years. Not much was known about her outside the music business, although musicians that she worked with said that she was no one to mess with.
