6/23/2021 If Nina, born Eunice Kathleen Waymon were only here today. In her time if you were a black woman, you had to clear numerous obstacles to live the life you wanted. Some people are gifted, not only in their raw talents, but having a knowing instinct of how their achievements might shape the future. Among many other achievements, praise her activism, Simone’s music caused the intertwining of pop and gospel with classical music. The pigfoot is just that.
