S.O.D. "Steel Monkey" by Jethro Tull
3/13/2021 This is a relief single from the 1987 album, “Crest of a Knave.” The album sparked great controversy at the 1989 Grammy Awards, winning the Grammy for Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance Vocal or Instrumental. The heavy favorite was Metallica’s “....And Justice for All.” “Nothing Shocking” by Jane’s Addiction was also favored. Nobody from Tull even showed up at the event. It was one of the biggest upsets in Grammy history, and Rolling Stone ranked it as the 18th Most Awesomely Retro Moments in Grammy History.
