2/13/2021 Venuti, considered the father of jazz violin, was in high demand in the 20s and 30s. He and guitarist Eddie Lang were the hottest musical duo of their time. They were often hired to play just a few bars together to spice up a song. Venuti left us in ‘78. Lang, much earlier in ‘33 at the age of 30. Venuti is a part of more than 220 published works.
