8/9/2020  This mainly country genre multi instrumentalist has been around since 1968.  He sings, composes all of his own material, and plays 6 instruments including the bouzouki.  This is a string instrument, sort of looking like a guitar, mainly used in Greece. Many artists have recorded his songs including Johnny Cash, Patty Loveless, and Bob Seger. His activism is mainly about capital punishment.
