S.O.D. "Sweet Georgia Brown" by Carol Burnett

7/29/2020  Right around 25 versions exist of this 1925 jazz standard.  In 1938, Django Reinhardt gave us his rendition. Reinhardt is possibly the most significant jazz musician to come out of Europe.  Jerry Lee Lewis tried it in 1970. In 1952, the Harlem Globetrotters made an instrumental version their theme song. We are going with the very well liked and versatile Carol Burnett.  As always, she adds an air of humor.
