S.O.D. "Planet Rock" by Afrika Bambaataa & The Soul Sonic Force

6/7/2020  Afrika Bambaataa Is actually Lance Taylor, a disc jockey, songwriter and record producer from the Bronx.  The Soulsonic Force Is the electro funk/hip-hop ensemble led by Taylor.  These guys were some of the Trailblazers for the two genres.  Arthur Baker produced the song and helped with the composing.  Released in 1982, the tune is somewhat of a tribute to the band Kraftwerk.
