S.O.D. "Pilot of the Airways" by Charlie Dore

6/10/2020  This 1979 hit single did some charting internationally. It’s about a woman who listens to the radio late at night, and considers the DJ to be perhaps her only friend.  Record World magazine named her New Female Artist of the Year, and she received an ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers).  Relationships with the radio as a teen can be quite intense.  ENJOY!!!!!!!
