S.O.D. "Wall of Denial" by Stevie Ray Vaughan
12/3/2020 From his fourth and final album, “In Step,” released in 1989. The title reflects his recent sobriety. In 1990, Vaughan and 4 others were killed in a helicopter crash in Wisconsin.
Upon being discovered by David Bowie, Stevie became a star practically overnight. He achieved mainstream success in just a few months, bringing with him a blues style which had never been seen. Vaughan left behind many recordings, and thanks to his brother and musician Jimmy Vaughan, many records were released posthumously. He was once described as “the leading light in American blues.”
