S.O.D. "Let It Whip" by Dazz Band

6/14/2019  This 1982 post disco/funk tune made it to #1 on the R&B chart and stayed there for five weeks.  It also held a position in the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 and Dance charts.  At the 1983 Grammys, the song was awarded Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals.  Dazz Band is from Cleveland Ohio and in their 42nd year of bringin’ it to ya.
