S.O.D. "Agent Double-O-Soul" Edwin Starr
5/27/2019 This song was responsible for getting Mr. Starr’s career started. Actually that’s Mr. Hatcher, Charles Edwin Hatcher, born in 1942 in Nashville, Tennessee. He formed his first group at the age of 15 which was a doo-wop group. Starr’s biggest hit was the #1 “War” written by Norman Whitfield and Barrett Strong. Strong was born one year before Starr and recorded the very first hit for the Motown label, “Money (That’s What I Want).” Starr’s career lasted 51 years, right up until he left us; 1951-2003. ENJOY!!!!!!!
