S.O.D. "On Top of Shiloh's Hill" by Jimmy Driftwood
4/8/2019 This musician, teacher and environmentalist graced the music business for 50 years and left us in 1998. He played guitar, fiddle, banjo, dulcimer and the mouth bow. Driftwood had his teaching degree and would write songs to help the students become more interested in the subject matter. He was born James Corbitt Morris in Timbo, Arkansas in 1907. Sometime in the 1950s he legally changed his name to Jimmy Driftwood.
