S.O.D. "Autumn Sweater" by Yo La Tengo

10/10/2019 This Indie rock band was formed in 1984 by guitarist, pianist and vocalist, Ira Kaplan, and drummer, pianist and vocalist, Georgia Hubley. The two Hoboken, NJ residents were married shortly after.  The only other member in the band is bassist and vocalist James McNew.  

To date they have released 15 studio albums and 22 singles. Many other works are to their credit including two film scores.  Online magazine, Pitchfork, stated that the band’s latest album “There’s a Riot Going On,” released in 2018, reflects the group’s greatest and most recognizable strengths.  Their many cover songs are also pretty awesome.
