S.O.D. "Mony Mony" by Billy Idol

1/28/2019  Idol’s 1981 rendition of this 1968 release from Tommy James and the Shondells went to #7 on the Billboard Dance Chart.  His more successful live version in 1987 charted internationally, making it to 7 countries, and going to #1 in the U.S. and Canada.  Due to made up profanity by fans, (you know what I mean) the song was banned at many events including high school dances.  Don’t get stuck somewhere with your grandparents while many people are shouting this out.  I speak from experience.
